Botanical Garden, Cairns          Sundag - 01/09/2002 - Sunday

Her får dyra namn etter utsjånad:  Kvitlippa trefrosk.......!

The tree frog.

Today, Sunday, we've  been to a jazz festival at Botanical Garden in Cairns.

Botanical Garden in Cairns is over a hundred years old and have got samples of different trees, bushes and plants from the tropics.  Worth a while, that's for sure.

We also took time to listen to the music.  We knew the conductor and two players of the Hot Shots from Atherton.  We enjoyed their swing music. You cannot tell by looking at the picture on the left, - but they're actually playing "In the Mood"!

One of Åsmund's favourite animals --- frogs!
We saw one at the Botanical Gardens - slimy little creature - with a typical name: You are called what you look like:  White-lipped-green-tree-frog!!!
