Hi ho from Martin Trengereid |
From 1996 to February 2006 I was teaching principal at the smallest primary school in
Stavanger - Åmøy
school. There are only 35 students at the school this year (2005/06).
Now I'm Deputy Principal at Birkeland
School (From March 1, 2006)
From 1979 to 1996 I was teaching at Østhusvik skule in Rennesøy communicipality.
In 1974/75 and 1977-79 I was at Gunnarnes skole on an island (Rolvsøy) in Finnmark at 71
degrees N latitude.
The students in year 6 in 1996/97 at Åmøy School participated in the Etracks Project together with Herberton Primary School, Queensland, Australia. You will not find the questions and letters to and fro the students on the net anymore. Bushnet closed down lots of years ago.
In 2002 I had four months leave.
I went to Herberton on The Tableland
to visit the school there and two other schools as well!!
